AAC COMPLETED ORTHOPHOTOPLANS PRODUCTION FOR THE TERRITORY OF KYIV CITY

As part of a contract with the “Kyiv Institute of Land Relations” (KILR), AAC produced orthophotoplans for the territory of Kyiv city with a resolution of 5 cm/pixel, covering a total area of 1 018 square kilometers.

The provided services resulted in the following:

• Aerial photography with a resolution of 5 cm/pixel was conducted;
• A digital surface model (DSM) was created for the peripheral part of the city, and a digital terrain model (DTM) for the central part;
• Digital orthophotoplans with a resolution of 5 cm/pixel were produced for the peripheral part of the city, covering a total area of 586 square kilometers;
• Digital true orthophotoplans (TrueOrto) with a resolution of 5 cm/pixel were produced for the central part of the city, covering a total area of 432 square kilometers.

The use of modern equipment and advanced technologies allowed AAC to perform the work and produce high-precision materials, which will facilitate future updates of the Unified Digital Topographic Base of the capital in scales of 1:2000 and 1:500. These materials will be used for urban planning and other cadastres within the city's territory, for the creation of information systems, and to address various other tasks.
